Tristan is an educator and musician based in London, specialising in performance pedagogy and musicology. He found this specialism, having graduated with a Masters in Choral Conducting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire following his undergraduate studies at the University of Sheffield.

Tristan previously directed InTouchVoices, a workplace choir for the staff of In Touch Games Ltd. 

As the director of the University of Sheffield Chamber Choir from 2017-2019, Tristan led concerts with diverse programmes, combining premiers by local composers and students with thematically-linked renaissance works. Tristan conducted the group for the last time during the tour to Cologne in June 2019, which included performances in the two largest churches in the city.

Tristan is an experienced singer of sacred music, having held positions of Choral Scholar and Lay Clerk at: Sheffield Cathedral; St Alphege, Solihull and St Barnabas, Dulwich since 2016. In the past he has sung with the National Youth Training Choir and Essex Youth Chamber Choir.
